Data Mining with Intergraph NetWorks

The latest release of NetWorks includes a new Feature Model Service which allows for data mining of the G/Technology database. Through the use of the Open Data Protocol, OData, users may query and consume data in a standard way. Mike Baker will demonstrate how he uses standard Microsoft tools such as Excel and BI Desktop, to gain insight into spatial warehouse.

Hydro Ottawa Case Study: Enhancing Utility Infrastructure with Intergraph G/Technology Fiber Optic Works

Hydro Ottawa Limited is responsible for the safe, reliable delivery of electricity to more than 300,000 residential and business customers. With the ever-increasing modernization and automation of the electrical grid, the utility also needs a robust, fast communication network. It has implemented a fiber optics works solution that supports geospatial infrastructure management throughout the enterprise, from the back office to the field.

During this session, we will discuss how utilities can implement and utilize Fiber Optic Works’ feature-rich functionality to help plan, deploy and manage fiber networks, and support full tracing at the strand level. We will present the process and share lessons learned from the implementation.
